Khimo Gumatay has finally dropped his first album, dubbed \u201cKHIMO<\/a>,\u201d a soulful celebration of his musical roots and artistic evolution. <\/p>\n

The \u201cIdol Philippines\u201d season 2 grand winner showcases his unique pop R&B voice in the eight-track long play (LP) released under Star Music. <\/p>\n

It features the song \u201cIsayaw Mo Lang<\/a>\u201d as the key single, which serves as an encouragement to let loose and just dance. KHIMO penned the song along with four other singles in the album. <\/p>\n

Fresh tracks also include \u201cDi Mapigilan,\u201d \u201cHush, Baby,\u201d \u201cKamahalan,\u201d \u201cI\u2019m Home,\u201d and his remake of the OPM classic \u201cHataw Na.\u201d <\/p>\n

Other songs in \u201cKHIMO\u201d album are his previously released singles \u201cHappy Ending\u201d and \u201cNasunog.\u201d<\/p>\n

KHIMO won in the ABS-CBN singing reality competition \u201cIdol Philippines\u201d in 2022. Before that, he competed in \u201cTawag ng Tanghalan\u201d season 3 and was part of the duo Binary in \u201cYour Moment.\u201d He previously released the songs \u201cWhere the Sun Goes,\u201d \u201cMy Time\u201d and \u201cSino Ka Ba,\u201d which was part of the soundtrack of \u201cThe Iron Heart.\u201d <\/p>\n

The talented soloist, who started playing the guitar at 7 years old, came from a family of singers and considers Earth Wind and Fire, D\u2019Angelo, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, and Marvin Gaye as his musical influences.<\/p>\n
