Promising singer-rapper MAVEN, the first hip-hop artist to debut under ABS-CBN\u2019s Star Music label, has released his self-penned double music offerings, \u201cGustong Gusto (I like it so much)\u201d and \u201cPapunta Na Ako (I\u2019m on the way)<\/a>.\u201d <\/p>\n

Named Dustin Gipala in real life, MAVEN was one of the contenders in \u201cTawag ng Tanghalan Kids\u201d season 1. He also joined the blind auditions of \u201cThe Voice Kids\u201d in 2015. He has been active as a cover artist on YouTube since 2019. <\/p>\n

As an artist, MAVEN looks forward to releasing relatable and genuine music through his hip-hop compositions. He said, \u201creal shit, real-life, and authentic lahat ng ilalabas nating music, abangan niyo.\u201d <\/p>\n

The R&B track \u201cGustong Gusto (I like it so much),\u201d produced by Cursebox, describes a steamy night with a special someone.<\/p>\n

\u201cYow! Nabuo yung song na \u2018yan dahil sa passion and love, \u2018di dahil trip kong maging bastos o maangas. Gusto ko lang ilabas yung side ko bilang artist sa ganyang paraan,\u201d he said in an Instagram story.<\/p>\n

\u201cPapunta Na Ako (I\u2019m on the way),\u201d meanwhile, is a pop-R&B track reassuring one’s significant other that they’re on the way to them, no matter how far and no matter what. It was produced by Young JV. <\/p>\n

It was just last month when MAVEN debuted with the song \u201cDito Ka Muna,\u201d a hip-hop and R&B song encouraging a person to stay longer. <\/p>\n
