He wrote the track about one\u2019s first experience of falling in love\u2014from skipping class for spontaneous dates, comforting each other during tough times, to sharing the first hug or kiss. The latest StarPop release also serves as a reminder to cherish every moment with their loved ones.<\/p>\n
Gab\u2019s creative vision and talent for making music led him to work with various OPM artists, including BGYO, Inigo Pascual, KZ Tandingan, and more. He received accolades such as Songwriter of the Year at the 2017 Filipino Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers, Inc. (FILSCAP) and 2020 Awit Awards Song of the Year for co-writing KZ\u2019s \u201cImposible.\u201d The multi-instrumentalist is also the frontman of Manila-based pop alternative-rock band [gab].<\/p>\n
In 2018, he sang \u201cGusto Ko Lamang Sa Buhay\u201d as part of the soundtrack of \u201cI Love You Hater.\u201d Gab dropped his first extended play (EP) \u201cBulong Ng Madaling Araw\u201d in 2022, which features the tracks \u201cSakin Ka Lang Tumingin\u201d and \u201cMadaling Araw.\u201d<\/p>\n
