<\/p>\nAmid the ongoing \u201cBINIverse World Tour,\u201d the nation\u2019s girl group BINI unleashes a special tour single titled \u201cShagidi,\u201d which is a new dance anthem inspired by a traditional Filipino game.<\/p>\n

\u201cShagidi\u201d highlights a genuine piece of Filipino childhood as it blends cultural pride and global pop appeal. Its single cover was personally designed by one of the BINI members, Maloi.<\/p>\n

The playful and upbeat track was born from ABS-CBN Music Camp in Davao last year with various international producers and local artists present at the event. Kapamilya singers Angela Ken, Angia Laurel, and Maymay Entrata bonded with different producers and introduced them to the Filipino game \u201cShagidi Shapopo.\u201d<\/p>\n
Their spontaneous round of the game was captured in a video and became an inspiration for their recording session the following day along with the song\u2019s composers Marqueze Parker, Tommy Brown, Courtlin Jabrae, JBach, and Angela Ken.<\/p>\n
Before the song\u2019s release, BINI launched their comeback single \u201cBlink Twice\u201d from their \u201cBINIverse\u201d EP. They also released their \u201cZero Pressure\u201d performance video<\/a> last month.<\/p>\n Their first variety show, \u201cBINIversus,\u201d is now up on BINI Official YouTube channel<\/a>. The group is currently visiting different cities in the United States as part of the North American leg of their concert tour.<\/p>\n
