ABS-CBN Music ruled Billboard Philippines\u2019 maiden Hot 100<\/a> and Top Philippine Songs<\/a> with multiple songs topping both charts from Kapamilya acts Maki and BINI.<\/p>\n

Maki topped the Hot 100 chart for the week of July 6 with his hit song \u201cDilaw\u201d released under Tarsier Records, one of the labels of ABS-CBN Music.<\/p>\n

The singer-songwriter expressed his delight in being part of OPM\u2019s success in the chart.<\/p>\n

\u201cCelebrating this along with all the OPM artists that are on top of the charts! I\u2019m just so thrilled and glad that OPM is thriving, very much alive, and that I get to share my part as an artist in this generation of Filipino music,\u201d said Maki in a Facebook post.<\/p>\n

His \u201cDilaw\u201d single is correspondingly at the no. 1 spot of Top Philippine Songs (week of July 6) while his breakout single, \u201cSaan?,\u201d made it to the list at no. 16.<\/p>\n

The nation\u2019s girl group BINI also reigned supreme with multiple positions in the Hot 100 chart: \u201cSalamin, Salamin\u201d at no. 2, \u201cPantropiko\u201d at no.4, \u201cKarera\u201d at no. 7, and \u201cLagi\u201d at no. 9. Their other songs \u201cHuwag Muna Tayong Umuwi,\u201d \u201cNa Na Na,\u201d and \u201cI Feel Good,\u201d all released under ABS-CBN\u2019s Star Music record label, are part of the list as well.<\/p>\n

The OPM girl group likewise ruled the Top Philippine Songs chart, occupying five slots in the Top 10 with \u201cSalamin, Salamin\u201d at no. 2, \u201cPantropiko\u201d at no. 3, \u201cKarera\u201d at no. 4, \u201cLagi\u201d at no. 5, and \u201cHuwag Muna Tayong Umuwi\u201d at no. 10.<\/p>\n

According to Billboard Philippines, Hot 100 ranks the biggest songs in the country weekly, \u201cbased on streaming data and sales from leading musical services\u201d while Top Philippine Songs names \u201cthe biggest local artists and songs making waves around the Philippines.\u201d<\/p>\n
