Former \u201cPinoy Big Brother Kumunity Season 10\u201d housemate Shanaia Gomez gushes about a newfound love in her new single \u201cSlow Dancing<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI dedicate this song to all the young girls out there who dream big. I never thought I would be able to achieve my dream of releasing my own music and this song represents the power of never giving up and where following your dreams can take you,\u201d said Shanaia.<\/p>\n

When it comes to experimenting with her sound, she envisioned the sweet and sultry track as the perfect fit to depict her image as a performer.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m still discovering myself as a musician and I feel like with this song I\u2019m getting closer to the sound and overall vibe that I want to be as a performer. It\u2019s something my younger self never would\u2019ve imagined for myself so I know she\u2019d be so happy,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n

\u201cSlow Dancing\u201d was composed and produced by Kapamilya artist Jeremy G while StarPop label head Roque \u201cRox\u201d Santos served as the supervising producer.<\/p>\n

As a recording artist, Shanaia released her debut single \u201cPara Sa\u2019yo\u201d which was quickly followed by the upbeat track \u201cAwake\u201d in 2022. Before her \u201cPBB\u201d stint, she auditioned in the first season of \u201cIdol Philippines\u201d in 2019. Some of her musical influences are Sabrina Carpenter and Dua Lipa.<\/p>\n

Shanaia continued to star in different series such as \u201cClick, Like, Share,\u201d \u201cHe\u2019s Into Her,\u201d \u201cFPJ\u2019s Batang Quiapo,\u201d and is one of the mainstays of \u201ciWant ASAP.\u201d Recently, she appeared in the blockbuster film \u201cRewind\u201d and in the musical comedy \u201cThe 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.\u201d<\/p>\n
