Ain\u2019t no mountain high enough for Philippine Obstacle Sports Federation athlete Angelica Torres as she climbed the circumferential trail of Mount Apo.<\/p>\n

Last October 24 to 26, Torres voluntarily joined the climb initiative of Parent Advocates for Visually Impaired Children Incorporated (PAVIC), which aimed at making no adventure impossible for special people.<\/p>\n

At 20 years old, she was dubbed the first visually impaired woman to climb the second tallest mountain in the country and was cited with a special certificate of the \u201cSta Cruz Trailblazer Award.\u201d<\/p>\n

Along her journey to the summit were her two support guides, Chezq Zeeq and Sab Galon, while all three were assisted by the mountain guides Arnie Macarenas and Julieann Morales.<\/p>\n

Torres proves that climbing your way to success is through determination, and with a bit of help, there is absolutely nothing stopping your way.<\/p>\n
